I have received a notice from LinkedIn, what should I do now?
If you have received a warning from LinkedIn or have been logged out, stay calm. There are several ways to prevent this from happening again and to secure your account.
What to do.
The first thing you MUST do is give Scrab.in a break for a couple of days and refrain from sending messages or connection requests.
If your account is restricted, it is best to contact LinkedIn's support team directly and they will provide you with more information on when the restriction will be lifted, as well as provide you with your identity. When you contact LinkedIn support, we suggest you let them do the talking and do not mention at all that you are using Scrab.in. As we always say, using scrab.in responsibly will not result in any restrictions.
How to avoid it?
After your Scrab.in account has rested for a couple of days, it's time to go back to LinkedIn and rethink your strategy. It's important to change your daily boundaries. Here are our recommended steps:
Set your Scrab.in settings to the lowest possible. To access these settings, go to Options and click on the Choke tab. Here you will be able to change the following options:
-Set the robot speed to visit 50 profiles maximum.
-Daily visits should be set to no more than 50-100 profiles per day and connection requests to no more than 25 per day.
Leave these settings on low for a few weeks and monitor your account. Since you are on the slowest possible setting, your account should have no problems.
Do not use LinkedIn while Scrab.in is running. LinkedIn tracks your activity on the page and your clicks, so if you are browsing LinkedIn while Scrab.in is running, you may run into problems. Let Scrab.in complete the work before logging into LinkedIn and it will minimize the risk of you logging out.
Set the limit of your daily visit. One of the ways to make Scrab.in work more naturally on LinkedIn is to set a limit on your daily actions. The limit allows you to select how many automations you can do when Scrab.in is running. To find and set the limit, go to your browser and click on the Scrab.in icon at the top right.
A drop-down menu will open where you have to choose "Limit" in the daily visits option.
